All rules and regulations are available to everyone with an interest in them, including staff guides and regulations.

Las Venturas Playground respects the privacy of every member and visitor of any service provided. Please note that this policy may be amended from time to time to keep up with the latest privacy policies.

This document contains Las Venturas Playground's Privacy Policy, meaning it describes the information we collect, process, and share with third parties. This document may be amended by the Las Venturas Playground Management at their own discretion. All changes will be publicly announced.

In this document a number of acronyms and non-standard terms will be used, which must be interpreted using the following definitions:

1. IRC, IRC Channels
   Las Ventures Playground owns a number of public and private chatting channels on the GTANet IRC Network. IRC is an acronym for Internet Relay Chat.
2. LVP
   Las Venturas Playground, the community as a whole, including all Services and Staff Members.
3. LVP Staff
   Staff members of the Las Venturas Playground community: Moderators, Administrators, the Management, Developers, Forum Administrators and Website Administrators.
4. SA-MP, San Andreas: Multiplayer
   A multiplayer modification for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas that Las Venturas Playground has been built upon. More information is available on http://www.sa-mp.com/.
5. Services
   All services offered by Las Venturas Playground including, but not limited to, the San Andreas: Multiplayer server, Website, Forums, TeamSpeak server and IRC Channels.
6. TeamSpeak
   Las Venturas Playground hosts its own TeamSpeak server, allowing you to talk to other people over the Internet. No logs are being kept of the vocal- and textual conversations.
7. WhatPulse
   Las Venturas Playground maintains its own sub-team in the WhatPulse competition, which tracks your key presses, clicks, and mouse movement. No private information will be shared using this service. More information is available at http://whatpulse.org/policy/.

This Privacy Policy applies to all Services owned by, maintained by, or derived from Las Venturas Playground. The most recent version of this document can be found on the following page of the Las Venturas Playground website: http://sa-mp.nl/about/policies/privacy.html.

By registering on Las Venturas Playground you agree to and acknowledge the contents of this document. In the case of disagreement with any of the items listed in this document you are expected to leave Las Venturas Playground and all related Services. No exceptions to these regulations are possible.

When you register on Las Venturas Playground, the following information will be collected. Fields noted with a red asterisk (*) are required in order to create a user account.

Other information including, but not limited to, your homepage, telephone number, address, country, avatar image, signature, and your gender may be entered at your own discretion. Some of these details will be published on your community profile page, which will be clearly noted on the page you are able to change your details on.

Las Venturas Playground offers V.I.P. memberships for regular players. Such a membership allows you to have a more extended profile, extra storage space for your activities on our Services and extra features where available. Payment information, including your PayPal address, name and address will be stored for administrative purposes. This information will be handled privately and will only be accessible for select members of the LVP Management.

Las Venturas Playground has various bots and systems that automatically gather information about your actions around our Services. Most of these statistics will be published by default; however, due to privacy implications some of these may have, you are allowed to disable them in your profile configuration.

The following information will be gathered by default and will be published without exception.

Registration date	Displaying the amount of days you have been registered.
Online time	Displaying the total time you have spent on our SA-MP Server.
Karma[3]	Your karma level based on your performance on all our Services.

Next to this, depending on your involvement on the Forums and our WhatPulse Team, columns may be shown in your profile describing your last actions on these Services. These columns cannot be disabled either, considering this is public information.

Various other information we track can be disabled based on your preference. While most of these fields have been enabled by default, you are free to show or hide them whenever you please. Certified Services of Las Venturas Playground^[4] are able to access this information at all times.

Frequent killers	hidden	Players who often kill you on our SA-MP Server.
Weapon preference[6]	hidden	Information about your fighting performance.
Profile API	hidden	Publish XML files with information about your statistics.

Next to these fields, a number of statistics will be gathered but will not be available to you or in your profile. Most of the time these statistics will be used for administrative purposes or general statistic gathering. While these are visible on our website, all information used to generate them is anonymous. In detail, the gathered statistics about you which are not directly available to you are:

1. IP Addresses, and associated countries, used during your SA-MP Sessions.
2. Any security-related command entered during your session on the SA-MP server, except the general "/login" command.
3. Notations in your profile made by Forum Administrators as a consequence of your actions, performance or behavior, on our Forums.
4. Notations in your profile made by LVP Staff Members as a consequence of your actions, performance, or behavior.
5. Reasons of kicks and bans from the SA-MP Server made by LVP Staff Members.
6. In-game chat-logs, private messages and gang-messages made by you on our SA-MP Server.

In case of immediate problems, select members of the LVP Management are allowed to look up your personal messages on the Forums. This will, however, be done with respect for your privacy. The contents of messages will never be shared with other Players or members of the LVP Staff. Private Messages on IRC, TeamSpeak and WhatPulse are absolutely private and cannot be viewed by any member of the Las Venturas Playground Management.

Your information will be handled privately and will never be shared with any third party without your direct consent, unless you chose to enable your Profile API. The Profile API allows external developers to use your information for any purpose they think is applicable. Mind that no personal information such as your e-mail address, real name, birth date, or IP addresses will be made available using the API, only basic in-game statistics.

Las Venturas Playground does store three cookies on your computer to support the website and forum, none of which contain any private or directly identifiable information. Firstly a cookie to store session information, which contains a hashed line of text pointing to a file on our server. The website uses another cookie with a hashed line of text meant to remember that you have logged in to it, making sure that you don't have to log in again. The forum stores a similar kind of cookie as well.

Las Venturas Playground does not delete user accounts under any circumstances. If you wish to remove your information from our Services you can log into your account and change all your information to something random. The Las Venturas Playground Management can help you with anonymizing your account and changing your nickname. These actions cannot be reverted.

Retrieving all information Las Venturas Playground has stored about you is possible, however, doing this allows us to charge $7.00 (€ 4.50 for European citizens) in administrative costs according to Dutch law. In case you wish an overview of the information we have stored about you, please send a formal request to noting your nickname and the e-mail address you have registered with. After your payment has been received, a document will be e-mailed to you with everything linked to your account.
